How to Endorse us for Support Coordination
With the rollout of the PACE system, the way participants select and confirm their support coordinators has changed. Participants now need to endorse their chosen support coordinator, which means notifying the NDIA about who will provide their coordination services. At Empowering Connection, we’re here to guide you and ensure the process is seamless.
Important Information for Participants and Guardians
Endorsements must be made by the participant, their nominee, or guardian – support coordinators cannot endorse providers on behalf of participants.
If you are happy with your current support coordinator and starting a new plan, you must re-endorse them to continue services.
The endorsement ensures that the support coordinator is linked to your plan for ongoing services and that invoices can be processed smoothly.
Steps to Endorse a Support Coordinator in the PACE System
There are two ways participants can endorse their chosen support coordinator:
Option 1: Endorse through the NDIA
Call the NDIA National Call Centre at 1800 800 110.
Provide your NDIS details and advise the NDIA that you wish to endorse Empowering Connection as your support coordination provider.
Option 2: Endorse through Your LAC or Planner
Contact your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or Planner.
Inform them that you would like to endorse Empowering Connection to provide support coordination services for your plan.
What to Say When Endorsing a Support Coordinator
Here’s an example of how a participant or nominee can frame the conversation:
Participant/Nominee:
“Hi, I’m calling to endorse a support coordinator for my current NDIS plan.
I am a [participant/plan nominee], and my NDIS number is [insert NDIS number].
I believe my plan is on the PACE system, and I would like to endorse Empowering Connection Group (May also be Audacity Group Pty Limited) as my support coordinator. Their registration number is 405 012 5890 and their ABN is 51 653 556 622 .
Please endorse them from the start date of my current plan, which is [insert start date].
Can you confirm that the endorsement is now complete?”
What if I Am Already Working with a Support Coordinator?
If you are already receiving support coordination services from Empowering Connection and starting a new plan, you will still need to re-endorse us to continue receiving services. The NDIA or your NDIS contact will reach out to discuss your options as your current plan nears its end.
Make sure to confirm with your LAC, Planner, or NDIA that you wish to continue with Empowering Connection as your support coordination provider to avoid service disruptions.
