Coffee with John

John's journey from supported employment to gaining real-world experience at Planted Coffee House in Victor Harbor has been nothing short of inspiring.

With the support of his NDIS team, John has built confidence, improved his communication skills, and even achieved a personal best in the McLaren Vale Half Marathon along the way!

With the guidance of his support worker Sarah and coordinator Bailey, John has thrived in his work experience at Planted Coffee House.

"Sarah and Bailey are amazing. Sarah has helped me talk to customers and learn where things go and what the routines are," says John.

"Empowering Connection is friendly and supportive. I like Bailey (Support Coordinator). Bailey is awesome. He has Autism like me, which makes me feel like I can connect with him," John shares.
