To start the recruitment process, please complete our online application form. By submitting this form along with your cover letter and resume, you'll help us create a comprehensive profile for you and better understand your qualifications and career goals. Tips for applying
Before applying, it's helpful to review the position description. This will assist you in determining whether your skills align with the role’s requirements and guide you on how to tailor your application effectively. When will you hear from us?
Upon submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that we have received it. This email will reassure you that your application is in our system. After this initial confirmation, our team will review your application thoroughly. You can expect to receive a response within 5 days, informing you of the next steps in the hiring process.

If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an email notifying you of this decision. Our Recruitment Advisor will then call you to arrange a convenient time and date for the interview. The interview will be conducted by Empowering Connection's Directors. Depending on the role, you may be invited for a second interview.
For Unsuccessful Candidates
Candidates who are not shortlisted will receive an email with the outcome of their application. Those who are interviewed will receive a phone call with feedback on their interview.What to Bring to Your Interview
Please bring the following items to your interview:Copies of any relevant qualifications
Proof of your right to work in Australia (such as an Australian passport, birth certificate, enrolment to vote, or visa)
Police clearance or DHS check, if applicable
Driver’s license, if required for the role you are applying for

During the interview, we will request contact information for two professional referees to conduct reference checks. Our goal is to complete these reference checks within 2 business days after your final interview. Typically, this means we will finalise the references either within the same week as your interview or early the following week.

A Police Check is a requirement for the recruitment process. If you do not already have one and are progressing through the recruitment stages, we can arrange it for you. In this case, please reach out to our team at the email provided below.

After completing all stages of the recruitment process, you’re set to begin your journey with Empowering Connection! Your direct team leader will contact you to schedule your start date. Once this date is confirmed, we will send you an employment agreement detailing your responsibilities, obligations, and employee rates. After we receive the signed agreement, we will provide you with an employee information pack.

Depending on your specific role and responsibilities, this may include on-the-job training, a detailed handover, or a combination of both. We are committed to ensuring that you have all the tools and knowledge needed to support our participants effectively and integrate smoothly into your new role.
