Community Access
Support to get out, connect, and engage in your community — your way.
About Social and Community Support.
Community Access is flexible support designed to help you participate in everyday life, build confidence, and stay connected to the people and places around you. Rather than following a fixed schedule or program, this support is built around your interests, your routine, and what matters most to you.
Whether you want to get out more often, attend appointments, try something new, or simply have support with day-to-day activities, we work alongside you to make it happen in a way that feels comfortable and achievable.
What this can look like.
Community Access is different for everyone, but may include:
Going out for coffee or meals
Shopping or running errands
Attending appointments
Visiting friends and family
Getting out to the beach, parks, or local events
Exploring hobbies or trying new activities
Building confidence using public transport
Support is designed to fit naturally into your life and can be adjusted as your needs change. It can be one-on-one or shared, a few hours a week or more regular outings, and either planned or more spontaneous.
This is a good fit if you’re looking to get out more, build confidence, increase independence, or prefer flexible, non-structured support.
