Short-Term Respite (STR)
Short-Term Respite (STR) provides safe, flexible support for people needing a temporary place to stay. Whether it’s for a short break, respite, or a brief period of extra care, STR helps you feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
What is Respite Care?
Respite is short-term support that gives primary carers a break and provides participants with high-quality, trusted care in their absence. It’s not just a pause—it’s an opportunity for everyone involved to reconnect with themselves, gain new experiences, and return feeling refreshed.
What can Respite look like?
Respite can take many forms, depending on your needs, preferences, and routines. Some options include:
In-Home Respite
Our team can come to you, providing care in the comfort and familiarity of your own home. This could be for a few hours, overnight, or longer periods—whatever works best for you.
Community-Based Respite
Enjoy a change of scenery with meaningful activities or day trips, supported by our experienced team while still receiving the care you need.
Overnight or Short-Term Stays
Stay in a safe, welcoming environment designed to feel like home. These short-term stays offer comfort, support, and a chance to rest and recharge.
