How Empowering Connection started
Empowering Connection was founded by CEO Bailey Hames, who lives with Autism, and his sister Imogen Hames, in response to their dissatisfaction with the support available to Bailey during his youth and to their mother, who lives with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Their pursuit of higher-quality support services has culminated in Empowering Connection Group becoming a Registered NDIS provider and offering a comprehensive range of supports.
Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and support to individuals and families across South Australia, enhancing their connection to their community through personalised, inclusive, and innovative services. Our goal as a provider is to empower individuals to connect and thrive, living the life they choose.
Bailey Hames established Empowering Connection in 2021 with a vision to enhance the quality of support services for individuals with disabilities. Drawing on his personal experience living with Autism, Bailey has instilled the organisation with a deep understanding and empathy, shaping the delivery of effective services that prioritise individual needs and empowerment.
This personal insight has been instrumental in defining Empowering Connection's commitment to providing compassionate and impactful support solutions for participants to thrive.
