Why we collect information

We collect information to provide safe, quality support that meets your needs, to meet our duty of care, to make referrals, and to run the business activities that support our services.

Your choices

You can choose not to give consent or provide personal details, and you can ask to see your records by asking your contact person.

Sharing your information

We don't share your information outside our organisation without your permission, unless the law requires it, for example to report abuse or neglect, or under a court order. Reports to government funding bodies are non-identifiable. We won't use photos or video of you without your consent.

Keeping it secure

Information is only accessible to the people who need it. We use password-protected systems, locked storage and restricted access, and we securely destroy or de-identify information we no longer need.

If there's a data breach

If we know or suspect your information has been accessed without permission and it could cause you harm, we'll act to reduce that harm, let you know and, where required, notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Who and what it applies to

All personal and sensitive information we hold, including about participants and employees, and all confidential company information.
