What is it?
community supports?
Community Supports give you a support worker to help you do the things you want to do out in the community. That could be going to the gym, joining a local club, getting to the shops or trying a new hobby. It's usually funded through Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation in the Core Supports of your NDIS plan.
Support can be one-to-one or in a small group, and it's available across Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Middleton, Mount Compass and Strathalbyn. Our aim is to build your confidence and independence, and help you feel part of your community.
This may suit you if you:
โ Want to join local groups, clubs or events
โ Would like support to try a new hobby
โ Need help getting to and from activities
โ Want to build confidence being out in the community

The EC Way
the EC Way
The EC Way is how we show up, every day. Small actions, every interaction. Here's what it looks like in community supports.
People lead their own lives.
You choose where you go and what you do.
Care should feel human.
We go at your pace and celebrate the small wins.
Everyone belongs.
We look for activities based on your interests, not your disability.
Dignity is never optional.
We speak to you, not about you, wherever we are.
Good enough isn't the EC Way.
We plan ahead so every outing runs smoothly.
